  2. What about the harassment one faces when people cant handle their pets properly and block the path ways, or their pets bark non stop and create nuisance for elderly people on their walks

    • You can talk to the pet owners and try to reach a harmonious solution amicable by requesting them to be responsible pet owners. Our focus at JAAGRUTI is to ensure rights of street animals are not tampered with or flouted.

  3. Hi Team Jaagruti,
We really appreciate the work you have been doing for animals all over the country. We need immediate advice. We have been trying to vaccinate, sterilize and feed community dogs in our sector for approximately 2 years now. We were harassed and threatened by the RWA and were forced to stop taking care of the dogs. When we didn’t oblige, we were threatened by a couple of residents who claimed that if we do not stop our compassion for the dogs they will hurt the dogs and to prove this point two dogs were beaten with lathis as a result of which they have broken legs. When we approached the RWA they turned deaf ears and boycotted us from any discussion related to our sector,The local Authority doesn’t pay any attention and we are regularly threatened by the local residents or the RWA. We are being threatened of eviction and harm to the dogs. My husband and I are trying to this on our own for a long time and we really need all the help we can get from you,
