@vasudha
we are taking care of street dogs for the last 3 years(me and my mother). initially it was a female dog.. now her third generation has also arrived :). all in all we have 12 dogs(6 puppies 6 adult with 2 adult female). I love to take care of them .we havevaccinated them and till now have not sterlize them as in between we lost the whole genration of these street dogs because of parvo disease and will only sterlize them if we feel the population is out of control.

I wanted to know some of the things::

(1) we generally feed them with rotis,milk and break.. is it fine or milk shud be avoided(I read it somewhere)
(2) pls educate more on the diseases to these dogs..
(3) one common disease that is recurring in my dogs are itching disease where there are red spots all over the body and they cause lot o pain.. what is the solution or it?
(4) difference between Pariah and Mongrel.

Hi Meher,A 1ml PetCam doze, once a day, mixed with milk for 3 days may help her. This is a very mild dose and we have successfully given it to dogs above 10 years of age.

I have an old dog in my colony who suddenly started limping. After a few days the limp has improved drastically but is not completely all right. I even bought a bottle of Petcam and chickened out before giving as i read the indications in it which scared me. This stray must be atleast ten years old. If u can guide me what to do i will be grateful. Also please suggest the dose and exactly how many times a day/week etc. my thinking is should i just leave her alone and not mess as the limp is not very severe now and the going is pretty much good.
