A thing to remember:
Delhi is a big city with lots of traffic problems so please maintain your calm. All NGOs are understaffed and have limited resources, be with the animal till the ambulance arrives, best option is that you try dropping the animal to the nearest shelter yourself. Follow up on the animals care and make sure that it gets released in the area where it was rescued from (for that is the animals home after all! and If your pockets and hearts allow, please try and make a donation to the hospital that treated the animal to cover the costs of the animals treatment.

This is as a word of request regarding a dog which i just saw in our college campus , which seems to be terribly hurt and beaten by some other stray dogs to an extent that its bleeding too badly with lot of infections and flies over it, its making me feel too helpless to see people around throwing stones to avoid seeing him, kindly do something about it, as soon as possible.Have mailed you my details.
hi
i stay in vasant kunj n i look after 6 stray dogs in my vicinity.2 of them are bitches i wana get them sterilised.can i please be helped??
Yes Rashmi, have sent you an e-mail on this subject. Your dogs can be sterilized for free at PAWS, a shelter located at Vasant Kunj (Masoodpur Village) that is funded by the MCD and Animal Welfare Board of India for carrying out street dog sterilizations in Delhi. Just make sure that you continue to monitor your dogs at all steps during this procedure, till the time they are fit to be released back into your area after being operated upon. You can call us for any guidance you may need on 99589 80909. Thanks.
[...] Animal Helplines in Delhi and NCR [...]
i am taking care of female stray do. It is pregnant. I wan to know whom should i contact to keep the puppies in a prper centre
We are a group of 5-6 school students and we feel extremely sad the way stray dogs get killed in road accidents by a car/truck etc. We came to know that Municipal Corporation Delhi/Gurgaon encourage volunteers for getting these poor creature sterlize. We request you to advise us how should we proceed on this front. What is the target officials are looking forward to acheive, keeping in mind the species existence in the long run. Please advise us on the details provided.
I spoke with you regarding a stray dog on 26/03/2011, who was badly hurt 2-3 days ago near my company in gurgaon.
You gave me a number of Friendicoes gurgaon but I was unable to get in touch with him. It might because of network problem or may be they are not interested to entertain any complaint.
If they dont take any action, can I complain about it to you..
It seems you are doing a very great job in saving lives of animals.
Thanks
Hi, there are 5 beautiful puppies outside my studio. Market Ppl have been taking care of them; but now they are about a month old and we fear that they might go ahead and travel towards the road where there is a lot of traffic, and so we are concerned about their safety. I clicked their pics and posted on Facebook, for adoption , but there is no response yet. Can you please suggest what to do, especially if there is someone you know that can help them get adopted by people who would care for them ? Please help us save these little puppies. I can be contacted on 9716005584. Thanks
Hi Vasudha,

I want to help street dogs
Today was our first experience of PFA when I called “Anita” and the doctor and an attendant came immediately for help and took the injured dog with them. I am so proud of you…god bless you in your efforts!
Wanted to report a hurt camel on noida but can’t get through your ambulance or help line nos.
Replied to your query over the e-mail Anisha. Hope that helped.
From my point of view its men menace as we controlled all the resources and no water and food l left for animals.we use and throw them n also expect that they sit at one place without food n water.
ALL THE BEST
NICE WORK
Greetings,
The purpose of this mail is to complain against NTPC society in Sector 33, Noida who have tightened a LANGUR from 1-2 years.
I recently shifted to sector 33 and saw a LANGUR in NTPC society in sector 33. On enquiry, I found that the LANGUR is being tightened with a rope from last 1-2 years in the same society. Yesterday night, when I saw him, I felt really sad as the LANGUR sit on a wall tightened to a tree and trying to sleep. He was continuously bitten by mosquitoes and all and was not able to sleep at all.
Somebody told me that they are doing so to avoid the monkeys. I was surprised to hear on how they can do something like that to a animal and can take his freedom.
I came to know that this same situation is from last 1-2 years. I am afraid that the LANGUR will die if the situation persists in the future as well.
This is a straight forward case of animal cruelty in a NTPC society where the, so called, educated people live.
Please see if anything can be done.
mail me at hlgoyal@gmail.com, if any assistance required.
Very glad to be among everyone of you here.We are talking about animals, because we can understand their expression of fear, pain, anger and love they show towards us.In this world, other than human beings there are ANIMALS AND PLANTS.We don’t hurt an animal not because it express its feel, but, because we understand its expression of pain. That means, till we know that a living being is in pain we don’t react.Let me come to the point,I am talking about the PLANTS AND TREES.Sometimes in your life till now you might have a living plant under your feet when you were walking in the park or another place. But you wouldn’t have reacted the same as you would have put your feet on a puppy, right?
why?
Because the puppy would have reacted by crying, but in case of plant it reacts but it cannot express its pain.
Please take care that you don’t stomp a plant
once again,
Plants feel the same pain as animals do,the difference is how they express
THANK YOU
